I'm having an odd problem, I have no save files.

Install patch into game folder
Run game as administrator

This did not help, but thanks anyway. Perhaps I could manually add the file? or there's another way?If possible that is.

Move the patch file into the game folder and then install it there.
Run the game as administrator.

I'm having the same problem as Newbie_10000
I updated the game, but had no available DLC's, actually the ''Data Files'' in the TESV launcher is greyed out.
I've tried running the registry file as administrator, both of them.
I've tried deleting and re-installing the game.
Please help!

try relocate "My Documents" location (google it)

I relocated the folder and tried running the registry files again.
Still the ''Data files'' is greyed out in the launcher.
I also tried launching it as an administrator and it's still grey.
But, otherwise the game is running fine, it's just the DLC's though.
Also, a part of the game is bugged, where you first meet Esbern. He just stands still and does nothing.
I tried restarting the game, and it still does nothing.

hi i know this games been out for a long time but i can't seem to get the update file working on my laptop i've tried opening as admin but still nothing it comes up as crc error and says some files are corrupt then deletes them i've reinstalled skyrim alot of times but still won't work

and some files are missing so the game won't load up the files are d3dx9_42.dll X3DAudio1_7.dll and XINPUT1_3.dll

nevermind the second message didn't have directx installed

nevermind had an old patch

I've tried the update, but the save folder still isn't present, is there any way of manually adding a save folder? ( Current issue : My game has no saves, and can't save. Tried putting patch into game folder, installing and then running it with admin permission. )
